Khawla Siddiqi's Homepage

The Arabic word Khawla itself means "one who brings about (positive) change". I was named after Khawla bint Tha'labah and Khawla bint AlAzwar, two companions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) who were known for their love, intelligence and bravery, and Fatima, the daughter of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said Fatima would be one of the four leaders of women in paradise. My parents hope that I will have the qualities associated with these amazing women to become of those who enter paradise.

My parents were ecstatic about my pending arrival and just couldn't wait.

They have finally understood and are now settled down to face the reality of the long road ahead :).

My older sisters, Nusayba and Rumaysa were also looking forward to having a(nother) sibling to boss around. They are also busy training our parents, to make life easier for me down the road :).
